Santiago Mora (b. 1995, Guadalajara, Mexico) is a visual artist whose practice spans painting, sculpture and speculative narrative. Mora examines the entanglements between human systems, technological production and material residue, while tracing the sociopolitical and ecological tensions embedded within contemporary processes of mass production. Mora received a BFA in Visual Arts from the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado (ENPEG) “La Esmeralda” in Mexico City in 2020. His recent solo and duo exhibitions include “Warm Soil” (2026), Vanguard Gallery, Shanghai; “Antropóptica” (2025), “Cosmos” (2024) and “Extremely Superficial, Incredibly Painful” (2023), Salón Silicón, Mexico City; “Ecofiltro” (2023), Ballista Space, Mexico City; and “Sólo mañana, Paraíso” (2023), Todomundo Gallery, Guadalajara. His works have been included in group exhibitions at Chopo Museum, Mexico City; Alfredo Ginocchio Gallery, Mexico City; TRESDOSTRES, Monterrey; Ámbar Quijano Gallery, Mexico City, among others. Mora’s work is represented in collections such as the Boris Hirmas Collection, Teofilo Cohen Collection, Anuar Mahuad Collection and Bernardo Saenger Collection. He currently lives and works in Guadalajara, Mexico.
